Lisa Zoll, Owner & Clinical Supervisor at Grief Relief, LLC

Lisa founded Grief Relief, LLC in 2019. Started it as a sole prop. Now she has 5 full time and 5 part time therapist and 3 full time office staff. Grief Relief, LLC has provided Mental Health Therapy services to over 1,300 people in central Pennsylvania. Lisa is responsible for reviewing all therapy notes of patients and providing supervision services to all 10 therapist. 8 of the therapist are women. She has positioned Grief Relief, LLC to be the premier therapy service in central PA for those with mental health issues relating to these 4 issues: Grief, Loss, Trauma and Traumatic Grief. Referrals come in daily from other therapist, psychiatrist, employee assistant program [EAP] businesses and hospitals that are not specifically trained to deal with these 4 issues. Lisa is constantly providing training to all the therapist on how to deal with these 4 issues. Lisa is a member of 2 different Critical Incident Stress Management [CISM] entities and also a trainer for Keystone Crisis Intervention Team [KCIT]. All of this experience has lead to her being the “go to person” for First Responders who are having mental health issues. They are on the front lines and experience things which none of us want to hear or see. Lisa has carved out a niche in her practice to accommodate First Responders. She was a fire fighter and EMT in her younger days and women in these roles are very special to her. Lisa will go above the call of duty to make sure that women are able to handle the mental stress of the job and still be in a good relationship with their significant other. She has been known to go out on Police and EMT calls with patients who are just starting to assimilate back into their job after a traumatic event. She does give priority to women in these roles. This has lead to do pro bono work for victims of trauma that don’t have insurance or can’t afford our services. Grief Relief has paid for several women therapist to get Eye Movement Desensitizing Reprocessing [EMDR] certified. She is paying for our female office manager to be a Certified Life Coach, to help her advance her career. Lisa has authored 2 books with other women: Grief: The Event, The Work, The Forever. And, Living Forward for First Responders. In conclusion, Lisa and one of our therapist have started a new business which is dedicated to First Responders. It’s called the Center for Living Forward. This organization provides services to First Responders and their family to live forward out of traumatic events. Helping others Live Forward is pretty much what Lisa has dedicated her professional life to and she LOVES IT!!
